Scilla Hess is an American adopted singer and songwriter originally from Switzerland. Her music as an artist is pop featuring some retro' jazz, soul and blues influences, inspired by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Etta James and Caro Emerald. As an artist she got picked to be in the Swiss national final of the “Eurovision Song Contest” with her song “Playground” in 2019, the song got also voted nr.1 by the audience of swiss radio RETE UNO. She already was a national Eurovision finalist in 2010 and she appeared on various major network TV shows like “Switzerland’s Got Talent”. She represented Switzerland at the New European Songbook and performed at the Edinburgh International Festival which was televised by BBC Arts in 2017. Her songs have been licensed on Hollywood Netflix movies.
